Bob on the Fridge

Housework works. Cathartic and wholesome. I found BOB LOVES RACHEL AND KALI in fridge magnets on my fridge. How had I not noticed it? When he did it the week before. Indeed there is much I didn’t  notice

In the most mundane of moments memories arrive. Filling up with petrol, Bob always knew the price and cheapest place to fill up. In the supermarket chilled pudding section, I see those GU deserts, and burst in to tears. His cupboard was full of their empty glass containers. puddings he’d bought to give to his guests. And so it goes on. Above all I’m finding it almost impossible to do small talk, or talk of anything except Bob.
