Late Quartet, film at the Cut. Unexpectedly beautiful and it’s feeling remaining with me. It was Bob who introduced me to Beethoven’s late quartets. The film opens, quietly observing the internal dynamics of the Fugue String Quartet, an internationally acclaimed musical group founded and based in New York that has been playing around the world… Continue reading Late Quartet – film Halesworth Cut

Zero Dark 30 (Film Norwich)
Male energy directed by female Katherine Biglow. Life out there. Protection of land. Retribution. The change in torture methods curbed post 2005 and Guantanamo exposures. One mans symbolic life. The actual death was clean. Will not watch again, although glad to watch the history documentary.

The 3 big car manufacturers fought it out there:… Continue reading Aldeburgh Doc Fest 2012 –
