Flood the zone – fear and loathing as well as distract

On Friday (September 5), US President Donald Trump, 79, signed his latest and subsequent 200th executive order (E.O.) – a directive renaming the Department of Defense (DoD) to ‘The Department of War’.

“We won World War I, we won World War II, we won everything before that and in between, and then we decided to go woke, and we changed the name to DoD. So, we’re going Department of War,” the businessmanexplained.

“I think it’s a much more appropriate name, in light of where the world is right now,” Trump said in the Oval Office.

“It sends a message of victory.”

If Republican leaders in Washington had hoped that a month-long congressional recess would help the Jeffrey Epstein controversy die down, this week’s frenzy of activity has dashed those hopes – at least for now.

Last Friday, the Justice Department released more than 33,000 pages of documents related to its Epstein investigation into child sex trafficking. By Monday, a consensus had formed that most of the information was already publicly available or of little interest.

On Wednesday, a group of Epstein victims and their families held a press conference on the steps of the Capitol to support the discharge petition and call for full disclosure in the Epstein case. A grand March through the streets ….
