Blyth Walking 2 Holton Mells

Walking from home. Over now my field, I noticed many fungi growing on the grass rides. As MJ observed, probably due to the recent cutting and leaving of organic matter, the ground had at last been fed, and begins to flourish.

Over the road, through a new gate near the weir, no cattle in the field. Remnants of Holton Pits occassionally coming into my head before I banish them! Fine multi stemmed Alder I notice by the bridge. Would the footpath be passable we wondered as we strode out along the road, no traffic passing? It was at the start, but frustraitingly and tantalisingly near the end, impassalbe. (I wrote my habitual annual email to PROW.East@suffolk.gov.uk, I see started in 2019.)

This year, this modest walk, began to feel a bit challenging.
