Elections USA – momentous day

I’ve been hocked my this election. Initially I was so clear it had to be Kamala, then fell into despondent darkness after an email from Bryan in Boston: Thanks for writing. I am anticipating a Trump victory, unfortunately. I just don’t have enough faith in our electorate to believe the country is ready to be led by a Black woman.

Kamala hit the doldrums; responding to Biden’s impatient comment that Trumps supporters were the only garbage he knew, Trump turned it and out as a garbage lorry driver, theatre.

Here’s the ending today:
T: Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago? We will have the greatest victory in all of history. I will stop the criminal invasion of illegal migrants.
K: Do we believe in Freedom? Opportunity?
The choice between rambling fear and communal hope.

The extraordinary aspect of this American election is how it could be so close. How can people not see what I see as a man with a derailed personality, potentially dangerous internationally, egocentric, fear monger, convicted, no respect of the rule of law, climate change denier, speaks with hyperbole, repetition and intensifiers, in sentence fragments, digresses, and talks golf.

Will it be women who decide the outcome? The swing states, Pennsylvania (19 electoral college votes), Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Georgia, must be fed up with being asked which way they will vote.
